We provide a range of implementation and consulting services in areas such as research, education, and innovative practical solutions relating to mental health and wellbeing. Many of the projects derive from the international network of our parent organization, the Global Engagement Institute (GEI), and the partnerships created for GEI’s Social Impact Lab. Occasionally, international or local institutions also contract us directly to carry out services.

If you are interested to partner with us, please contact us at info@mhub-rwanda.org.

Current Projects

MHF in the Schools

We are proud to partner with the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc, a leading U.S. accreditation body, to role out the Mental Health Facilitator (MHF) curriculum across selected schools in Kenya, Rwanda, and South Africa.

Economic & Emotional Empowerment

Our Economic & Emotional Empowerment work focuses on disadvantaged ‘colored’ communities in South Africa’s rural Western Cape region. The pilot takes place in Barrydale, and our main partner organization is Net Vir Pret.

Mindful Self-Compassion

In collaboration with the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion at the University of California-San Diego, we are bringing the Mindful Self-Compassion curriculum to the African continent. Among others, implementation takes place in Kenya.
